What the service provides
The site helps users discover published profiles, read general information, request an introduction, and submit profile claims or corrections. Public use is currently free.
Check before appointing anyone
A listing, status or introduction is not an endorsement, licence, guarantee or suitability assessment. Information can become incomplete or out of date. Confirm an individual practitioner's authorisation through the official service and seek qualified advice promptly if insolvency may apply.
Introductions
If you request an introduction, you ask us to pass your submitted details to the selected firm. The firm decides whether and how to respond. We are not a party to the engagement and do not control its advice, fees, service or outcome. We may receive a commercial fee for an introduction or resulting engagement.
Claims, corrections and acceptable use
Submissions must be accurate, lawful and authorised. Do not send confidential case files, unnecessary personal data, defamatory content, malware or material that infringes rights. Claims and corrections are reviewed and never change profiles automatically. You must not bypass security, disrupt the service, misrepresent authority, unlawfully scrape substantial directory content or use its data for unlawful unsolicited marketing.
Editorial control and rights
We control listing selection, status labels, presentation and editorial wording. Third-party names, logos and materials remain their owners' property. Original site text, design, compilation and software are protected. Reasonable extracts may be viewed or printed for personal or internal business use.
External sites, availability and changes
We do not control external websites. We aim to keep this service useful and secure but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may correct, suspend or change the site where reasonably necessary, and will update the date above for material term changes.
Our responsibility
We use reasonable care in operating the service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on unverified profile information, a firm's acts or omissions, third-party sites or events outside our reasonable control. We do not exclude liability where unlawful, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.
Privacy and law
See our Privacy Policy. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights and court access that apply where they live.
